Hello!

I'm Tessa, a 24-year-old photographer and artist based in South Jersey and Philadelphia, PA, with a passion for capturing moments that feel cinematic and surreal. I fell in love with photography at age 12, but it wasn’t until I began experimenting with light and color that I discovered my love for creating dreamlike, transformative images.

In high school, I explored art through photography and graphic design classes, where I learned the freedom of breaking the rules rather than following them. Inspired by paintings, music, and film, my work blends reality with artistic storytelling.

Beyond photography, I express myself through painting and poetry, and I find balance and inspiration in nature through herbalism and wellness.

In 2020, I self-published Ones and Zeros, a photography and poetry collection exploring the intersection of imagery and emotion. The book also featured submissions from emerging artists across various mediums, highlighting their work alongside mine.

In 2022, I joined the documentation team for Beardfest, a three-day celebration of creative energy in South Jersey’s Pinelands Preserve. I first discovered the festival at 17 and was immediately captivated by its vibrant creativity. Eight years later, I remain deeply connected to its community.

My photography has been featured twice on Vogue Italia’s platform, and I’ve had the privilege of capturing bands such as The Motet, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Neal Francis, The Main Squeeze, and more. Live music isn’t just something I photograph - it’s an essential part of who I am and continues to shape my art and my journey.

I'm currently taking on new projects. Let’s create together—contact me at tessaephoto@gmail.com or my inquiry form here.
